Q. What is the app called?
A. The app is called Catton Mobile, however, if you search for S4labour in the app store it will appear.
Q. How do I log into the app?
A. You use the same credentials you use to log into www.S4labour.com.
Q. Why do I need the app?
A. This is where you access your live rota, manage your data and request holidays - see our App poster to find out all the app features
Q. The app seems to crash when I make details change requests?
A. It sounds as though you are not opening the edit toggle in the top right when requesting your changes? Also ensure each of the three forms is treated separately, open the edit toggle make the amendments hit request changes before moving onto the bank details section. Q. Why are some of the icons greyed out?
A. Depending on what modules your organisation has chosen will depend on what you have access to. If your rota icon is greyed out this will most likely be because yo have logged into a user profile and your account are not linked. Speak to your line manager about getting your account linked - A guide can be found here
Q. When using TAPs it doesn't let me tap in/ tap out?
A. This could be down to a couple of things, your phone signal, your phone's ability to find the location or that the business opening times are set up incorrectly. Check out this guide to work through the TAPS troubleshooting and then as a level 5 to check the sites general settings to see if you are trying to tap in or out outside of opening times.
Q. Can I plan a rota in the app?
A. The App functions are more employee-related and such user functions are available on www.S4labour.com. You can access this on your phone if you wish but these functions are not available with the app.
Q. How do I see what I am doing when on Shift in the app?
A. There is a feature called Shift Success which is accessed using the target icon. You can check with your organisation if you are using this feature and find out more about its functions here
Q. How do I review my shift within the app?
A. The review shift feature will pop up when you tap out if your organisation are using Shift Success. More about this can be found here
