Each site has some simple settings that can be changed at site level when you have the cog icon within your user profile. We highly recommend you restrict the access to this part of your system as some very important settings sit here.
To add the 'cog' icon to an user profile a level 5 user can follow these simple steps
Spanner icon > View all users > Search for the user > click Edit > set 'fixed tasks & settings' to allow > save
General Settings
General settings are within your control and, the image above explains each of the settings. More about flex budgeting can be found here.
Admin/Prep/Sales Support Settings
This is where you can set the non-sales hours within your FOH & BOH areas. When adding hours into the time slots it lifts the standard line for that period of time. We would only recommend the use of this outside of trading hours or for tasks that are completed 'off the floor' such as stock taking or admin. Remember that when you have hours loaded into admin and prep the minute you then take a £1 this will suggest you need an additional person for deployment. - More about how to use Admin & Prep can be found here
Sales Settings
This is where you can upload your sales profile for the site if you don't have a till link, we would recommend you look at your last 4 weeks' sales creating an average by time slot, and populate the template to upload. If you have pretty constant trade patterns you can leave this a just review every few months. Remember the system uses trade history along with the sales forecast to create the deployment requirement for the site. More about deployment can be found here.
Financial Plan Settings
This is where you upload your orgniastions budgets for both sales and labour. Ensure you use the template. Details on how to use this function can be found in this guide.
