What do the numbers mean on the home page?
The figures presented on the home page are split down into Sales and Labour costs.
Within the sales section, a manager can see their forecasts vs actual sales for the current week. They can also see the £ and % of the variance between these figures. If the variance is highlighted in green, this shows that there have been additional sales to what was forecast. On the other hand, if the variance shows red, this indicates that less revenue has been made than expected.
In the labour section just below, managers can see their labour budget and actual labour spend, as well as the variance. If the variance is shaded in red, this indicates that more money has been spent on labour than what was forecast for. If it is shaded in green however, this shows that less money has been spent on labour than was budgeted.
