Q. Where do I access S4labour?
A. www.S4labour.com is the platform address.
Q. What is my user name?
A. Your user name would have been set up by a level 5 user within your organisation we recommend the use of 'FirstnameSurname'. If you are trying to log into an employee account then this will just be your email address, only managers would have a name related user name.
Q. How do my employees log in?
A. When employees are added into S4labour they will automatically be sent an invitation via email inviting them to set up a password. If this email has been lost you are able to simply add in the email address into the 'username field' and hit the 'forgotten password' link, this will send a new password set up email. Q. Why can't my employee log in?
If your employee has tried to reset their password and is still unable to login, or hasn't received the forgotten password link via email, you may need to check two things on their employee profile. Firstly, is their email address correct. Secondly, is the box labelled 'Can Login' ticked. If either of these were added incorrectly when your employee was created, they will be unable to access s4labour. Find out more about adding employees to the system by clicking here.
Q. My username is incorrect, who should I ask?
A. You should check with your line manager who will advise the best person in your organisation to check your username. If you are an employee your line manager will be able to check within your employee record what email address has been entered and that you have the 'can log in' box ticked.
Q. I can't seem to log into the app?
A. You must first set up your password and then log into www.S4labour.com first. You will then be able to log into the S4labour app. (Catton Mobile)
Q. When I log into the app I can't see my rota?
A. This could be because the rota hasn't been published, check with your manager its been flagged. Or You can log into the app as a user only, which would only show you the report icon. When a users profile is linked to an employee profile you will then be able to see your rota. Information on linking user and employees can be found here
Q. We have recently promoted someone how do I upgrade their access?
A. A user account would need to be created by a level 5 user this can then be linked to the employee. Information about setting a new user can be seen here
Q. What is the difference between users & Employees?
A. An employee account allows the employee to view their rota and their details as well as any documentation loaded into the records (if shared with the employee). If your organisation used HR then the employee would also be able to make holiday requests and also request a change of details too.
A User account is for anyone needing the business side of the system to plan a rota, forecast sales access reporting, add new and manage employees, accept requests etc.
