How does an employee offer a shift?
When viewing a published rota within the S4Connect App, employees can tap into a shift that they have been allocated and choose to ‘Offer’ it out to the wider team.
This shift will then be able to be grabbed by any other staff on site holding the same role.
However, the shift remains the responsibility of the original employee until a manager approves a change.
The shift will have an orange border once offered.
The shift will be removed from the original employee’s rota once a manager has confirmed another employee can ‘Grab it’.
How can an employee see if a shift grab has been successful?
Notifications will appear within the app to alert the employee of any decisions on grabbed shifts. The rota will also update if a change in shift is approved.
