How to Use Shift 4 Grabs in S4 Connect

Grabbing a Shift

1. Open the S4 Connect app.

   

2. Tap 'Rota' in the bottom menu bar.

   

3. Tap the Shift 4 Grabs tab to view available shifts.

   

4. Select a date to browse available shifts.

   

5. View 'Shifts at your site' and 'Shifts at other sites'

   

6. Tap a shift to view details.

   

7. Tab 'Grab' to request the shift.

   

8. Wait for Manager approval. You’ll receive a notification once your request is approved or declined.

Offering a Shift (from home site)

1. Tap 'Rota' in the bottom menu bar.

   

2. Tap on a shift under the 'schedule' tab

   

3. Select Offer to make it available to others colleagues.

   

4. The shift will be marked as offered until a manager approves a transfer.

5. You’ll be notified once the manager approves or declines the offer.

Reviewing Shift Requests

• You can check the status of your offered or grabbed shifts in the app.

• A notification will appear when a manager has approved or declined your request.

  

• Your rota will update automatically if the shift you are grabbing is approved.
