Q. As a manager, where can I access S4labour?
A. www.s4labour.com will allow you to access the platform on most browsers/operating systems. Alternatively, our "S4 Manage" (for managers) app is available via the Play Store or Apple Store.
Q. As an employee, where can I access S4labour?
A. We would advise to download our mobile app "S4 Connect" which is available via the Play Store or Apple Store. Alternatively, www.S4labour.com will allow you to access the platform.
Q. My password is incorrect (or I've forgotten), what do I do?
A. You can reset your password for both employee and manager accounts by going to www.s4labour.com, typing your username (not always your email) into the box and pressing "Forgot Password."
Q. I can't reset my password, why?
A. Please see our "How to reset your password" article for assistance. If you are still not able to log on, please contact our Support Desk.
Q. What is my username for my management account?
A. Your username would have been set up by a Level 5 user within your organisation - any Level 5 user will be able to confirm this for you.
Q. What is my username for my employee account?
A. Your username would have been set up when you were added to S4labour as an employee - your line manager (and most S4 managers) should be able to check this for you on your employee profile page.
Q. My management username is incorrect (or I've forgotten), who should I speak to?
A. You should check with your line manager who will advise the best person in your organisation to check your username. Any Level 5 (normally a head office position) will be able to check this for you under the "View All Users" option under the spanner icon.
Q. My employee username is incorrect (or I've forgotten), who should I speak to?
A. Your line manager will be best to advise. All Level 3 and above managers on S4 are able to access the Employee summary page and can confirm your username. In most (but not all) cases, this will be your email.
Please note, if you have used S4 at a previous workplace, your username must be different to previously or may cause login issues. If this is the case, please contact S4 Support.
Q. How do I create an employee account?
A. An employee account can be created using the "Create New Employee" under the Employee Icon. This can be processed by any manager. Employees will then receive their signup instructions. Should an employee not receive, or have an expired verification code they can bypass this by resetting their password on www.S4labour.com.
Q. How do I create an account for a manager?
A. A user account can be created by any Level 5 user, which should be linked to the relevant employee. The process is exactly the same for a newly promoted employee, or hiring a manager directly. Creating a new User
Q. What is the difference between users & employees?
A. An employee account is needed to view the rota for the week, check and update personal details and to request details.
A User account is needed for those who need to edit and publish the rota, access or onboard employees or run reports and process financial information.
Q. How do I know what level of access I should give someone?
A. A review of access levels can be viewed here. As a general rule: Level 2 are Assistant Managers, Level 3 are Managers of one site, Level 4 are Area Managers of multiple sites and Level 5's are System Administrators.
